Caroline Broom, LCSW

Caroline Broom has been practicing psychotherapy for over seven years with individuals and families in outpatient and partial hospitalization settings. Caroline graduated with her Master’s of Social Work in 2016 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Caroline has experience working with individuals and families impacted by significant trauma and systemic marginalization, as well as those learning to cope with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She works collaboratively with clients to increase their sense of agency, self-efficacy, and capacity for sustainable change. Caroline is clinically trained in, and currently uses, an integrative Multitheoretical Psychotherapy approach, and has a particular interest in physical health and wellness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic (Body) Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and family systems. In addition to psychotherapy services, Caroline has experience with completion of substance use and domestic violence assessments. Prior to practicing psychotherapy, Caroline worked for many years in social services within education, healthcare, child welfare, and judicial systems.
