Hadley White Standring, LCSW
Hadley is a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Georgia. She works with young adults, individuals, and couples experiencing life transitions, identity awakenings, and mental and behavioral health, such as depression and anxiety. Hadley has a passion for supporting people entering motherhood and fatherhood. She works with pregnant people in the tender perinatal and postpartum stages and caregivers transitioning to parenthood — with all the joy, chaos, and stress it includes. She has a rich background in the mental health field and social systems. Her experience includes supporting food-insecure families, refugees and first generation citizens, women and mothers in substance use recovery. She’s also experienced working with families in the child welfare system. Hadley uses a person-centered and curious approach to help clients safely explore and align their core beliefs and values. She pulls from a variety of evidence-based models, including CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems. Hadley accepts private pay with a sliding scale option and insurance. Hadley is currently accepting new clients, she sees clients in-person and virtually at the Athens Center for Emotional Healing on evenings and weekends.
